I am excited to share that July 25th, 2018 was my 7th year work anniversary with Indian River Networks. When I was hired as the Office Administrator for IRN, back in July 2011, there were a total of five full- time employees. Within a few months we had outgrown our small office at the Osceola Professional Building in Melbourne Beach. The hunt was on for a new office location. In March of 2012 we moved a mile down the street to a larger office space. The new office faced the Ocean, and I could not believe each day I worked with an Ocean view from my desk. The entire team agreed, this location was amazing.
Each year at Indian River Networks, I have enjoyed learning about technology, serving our community as a team, getting to know my teammates, and getting to know our Clients. The atmosphere at the office is one of family, and a most unique aspect of that work family dynamic is that it is not limited to the employees only. At Indian River Networks, we take on each of our Clients and make them a part of our family as well. There is a perfect blend of absolute professionalism and close-knit work family that Eric and Amy have somehow mastered in their company.
In January of 2014, I transitioned into my new role as Business Manager. The company was still growing, and exciting things were happening. Our hours changed to offer a 24x7x365 helpdesk; I now had an office mate; and cubicles and monitors filled the bull room. I knew this office would not be a permanent residence.
In January of 2016, boxes packed and moving truck loaded, we were on the move again. We settled into our current office on 6th Avenue in Indialantic, FL. Today we have seventeen team members that form our IRN family. As the company has grown over these past seven years, I have grown as well. I have enjoyed being a part of this journey with Indian River Networks, and I look forward too many more years.
